Uptime
HTTP checks on a configurable interval, with response time and status code recorded on every check.
SSL expiry
Warns before a certificate expires, so renewal never becomes an outage.
Content changes
Detects when a page's content changes unexpectedly, useful for pages that should stay static.
When you'll get an email
WatchTower sends an email only when something changes — not on every check. A site that stays up sends nothing. A site that goes down, comes back up, or is nearing certificate expiry triggers exactly one email per event, with cooldowns in place so a flapping site doesn't flood your inbox.

Who this is for
WatchTower is a small, self-hosted monitoring service, currently used to monitor a handful of personal and demo endpoints. It is built and operated by a single person as an infrastructure project — every alert you'd receive corresponds to a site someone deliberately registered for monitoring, never to a marketing list or unsolicited contact.
